This beautiful holiday home built in 2014 is situated on the Aarø Island. The large window and the ceiling open until the ridge, ensures good incidence of light. A partition wall separates the kitchen and the living room. All the family members can enjoy and relax in the living room. Heat pumps ensure low energy consumption and costs. There is a cosy fireplace in the house. The house has convenient beds and the furnishing in the house gives you an indication of the owner’s tastes. The partly covered terrace invites you for relaxation during all the seasons. The beach on the island offers good swimming opportunities. You are never far from the sea on this island. Since there are very few cars on the island, you can take a bicycle tour around the island along with your children. You can also visit the adventure playground not very far away. There are attractive shopping opportunities on the island. The farmhouse Brummers Gård is definitely worth a visit, where you can try the local Danish dishes. You can also taste the exclusive Galloway beef in the restaurants. In Brummers, you can rent bicycles, sea kayaks, fish nets, hand carts for your children and all that you need for an ideal island tour. You can also taste the wine from local vineyards in the island along with dinner. Wine tasting is also arranged in the wine yards where you can taste the locally produced wines. You can take the ferry Helene through the 12 km long Fjord from Aarø until Haderslev. Haderslev is an ancient and beautiful city with typical shops and museums. On your arrival at the harbour, you will know that the ferry travels once every hour, but ferries operate at a higher frequency depending on the requirements to ensure that you reach the island in 15 minutes. There are fishing boats and ferry boats in the harbour. You can comfortably fish on the whole island.
