The owner occasionally uses the toilet, equipment and the storage room in the boathouse. The 21 ft boat is tied up to a buoy and you need to climb over another boat (the 13 ft one) to get to it. NB! The 21 ft boat and the 18 ft boat must be requested when booking the house. You can only rent the house if you also rent one of these boats. A boat driving license is required for everyone born after 1980 if you want drive the 21 ft boat. For those bringing their own boat, the cost is NOK 2100 per week per boat. The fishing conditions here are excellent and the owner can advise you about where to go. If you want to fish nearby, the 16 ft boat is perfect for recreational fishing. You can catch trout in the lake of Alnesvatnet 10 km away. Go swimming directly below the house or on a fine sandy beach 3 km away. Ålesund is only 10 km away, through a submarine tunnel. The airport is also 10 km away.
