We are pleased to present our newly renovated loft apartment. It offers you everything you need for a relaxing stay. The 3 ½ room apartment has two sleeping areas spread over two floors, an area with kitchen, dining and living room and a bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen has a hot air/microwave oven, a 4-burner induction stove, a large refrigerator and a dishwasher. Pans, pots, kettle, enough dishes and a Nespresso coffee machine including coffee capsules are available, as are spices, oil, pasta and the essentials for cooking. A raclette oven and cheese fondue pot are also available for use. The apartment has storage rooms and a cellar where bicycles, skis, sledges etc. can be stored, and there is a reserved free parking space 3 minutes from the house. The house also has a cozy garden seating area.
The historic former farmhouse, built in 1768, was completely renovated in 2023/2024. From the outside, the house still corresponds to the typical Bernese Oberland style, but inside the bathroom, kitchen, walls, floors, heating, etc. are of the most modern standard.
Excursion possibilities: The Bernese Oberland is right in front of you: you can reach the idyllic Brienz on Lake Brienz in 5 minutes by car with the Brienzer-Rothorn-Bahn. You can reach the Axalp for skiing, cross-country skiing, sledding, hiking, walking, etc. in 20 minutes by car. The popular Brünig-Hasliberg ski and hiking area is just around the corner, so to speak. It takes about 10 minutes by car to Meiringen with the adventurous Aareschlucht. It takes 25 minutes by car to Wilderswil, the starting point for the Bernese Oberland mountains with Schynige Platte, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Adelboden, etc. and the entire Jungfrau region.
All sights can also be easily reached from Brienzwiler by post bus.
In Brienzwiler, a 5-minute walk from the house, you will find the Ballenberg open-air museum. Countless hiking trails for all levels of difficulty are also right at your feet. The Way of St. James runs right through the village.

In Anna's village shop, 200 meters from the house, you will find everything you need for everyday use, including the post office and the cozy coffee corner, including cheese for raclette or fondue.
