Welcome to beautiful Funen, where a wonderful base awaits you in this inviting wooden holiday home near Skåstrup beach. The house is open-plan, with wood panelling and large windows that let in natural light and offer fantastic views over the fields and down to the water. With its great facilities, you have everything you need to relax and take your time. Cook in the well-equipped kitchen, set the dining table and enjoy your meals while taking in the beautiful surroundings. Later you can make yourself comfortable on the sofa and end the evening with a good film in front of the TV or perhaps challenge the whole gang to a darts tournament?

The house has a lovely enclosed garden and three terraces with comfortable furniture where you can enjoy the view from morning to night with a good cup of coffee. Play a game of ball with the children or let them jump on the trampoline. Barbecue on the outdoor fireplace while a campfire in the garden creates a cosy atmosphere.

In Skåstrup Strand, every season has its charm, and you can swim, fish, hike and fly kites on the beach. You can also visit Bogense, which is only a few minutes' drive from the house. The town is a picturesque and charming old market town with cobbled streets, an atmospheric marina, old fishermen's cottages and great cafés. The beach at the marina offers fine sand and shallow water, and a market is held every Thursday in the old market square. You can also experience the North Fyn Rose Festival in Bogense. Enjoy cycling tours along the coast, find a spot for a picnic on one of the many beautiful beaches and visit the Gyldensteen Strand nature reserve. The picturesque and bird-rich islands of Æbelø, Ejlinge and Dræet are also among the highlights of the area. At low tide you can hike to the islands, following the recommended mudflat hiking trail.

Take a trip to Odense, home to one of Denmark's best zoos, the Danish Railway Museum, the Hans Christian Andersen Museum and the Funen Landscape Museum. Andersen Museum, the Funen Village and plenty of shopping opportunities, which you can round off with a nice lunch in one of the area's cosy streets.
