This little 17th-century jewel offers the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday, with all amenities on site.

Nearby, there are many treasures to visit in the region: the town of Carcassonne with all its heritage, Castelnaudary, world capital of Cassoulet, the beautiful landscapes of the Montagne Noire (lakes, waterfalls, valleys), the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours or Bram with its lake and water sports. If you're a lover of heritage, you'll be well served in the Cathar country, with its abbeys, castles and medieval towns. The village is home to a wide range of shops, including a grocer's, restaurant, tobacconist's, baker's and chemist's.

With its lush 8,000m2 garden, the gîte promises unforgettable moments of serenity, with a beautiful private swimming pool (10x4x1.50) where you can relax on deckchairs under the southern sun. There's also a private terrace with two large tables to suit all ages, a barbecue area with a brazier and a traditional barbecue, and a boules area with an adjoining bar where you can enjoy a friendly game of pétanque!

A children's play area (trampoline, swing) is located in the park, as well as a table tennis table, a sandy beach and relaxing furniture for sipping a cocktail or reading in a heavenly setting. A small cottage with a bed for 2 people and a kitchenette is available. The garden gives direct access to the river Fresquel (not fenced, supervision required for children) where you can fish or simply relax. Each part of the park offers the possibility of having its own private comfort. An annex just in front of the gîte gives you the chance to try your hand at a number of games: darts, table football and a library of 50 board games.

On the ground floor, the gîte opens onto an entrance hall leading to a fully-equipped self-contained kitchen, a dining room, dining table and piano. The first bedroom has a double bed (140x190cm) and an en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin, WC). Separate WC. A large utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a drying rack where the central room of the Moulin used to be. You can also store bicycles.

There are two staircases leading to the 1st floor, one via the dining room, upstairs there is a bedroom with a 140x190 bed and en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin and WC), a second bedroom with a 2x90 bunk bed and en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin and WC). The second staircase from the entrance hall gives access to the first floor where there are two bedrooms with a 140x190 bed and en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin and WC), a third bedroom with a 160x200cm bed (2x80x200cm) and en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin and WC) and a final bedroom with a 90x190cm bed and en-suite shower room (shower, washbasin and WC).

WIFI connection. Baby equipment available on request. Pets are welcome at an additional cost. Oil-fired heating. Private parking for 5 cars on the estate.

SERVICES: End-of-stay cleaning of €150 is compulsory and must be paid to the owner. On request, as an optional extra, a complete linen kit (sheets, towels) for all occupants of the gîte at 150€.
