This village is located at the foot of the abbey of Saint Martin du Canigouet du Pic du Canigou, 200 m from one of the most important climbing sites in the department, as well as numerous hiking trails in the regional park of the Catalan Pyrenees. Vernet Les Bains is only 2.5 km away, if you need a spa treatment, and about 1 hour from the beaches. This gîte has been entirely renovated with eco-materials by the owner and is located in the very first school created in the pretty village of Casteil. Access to the gîte is by a few steps. The living room (double sofa bed, pellet stove) with its fully equipped kitchen opens onto the private enclosed terrace of 25 m² (garden furniture, plancha). On the first floor: Two bedrooms with a refined style (1 bed 160) and (2 single beds), shower room (wc). Public parking in the village. With its own entrance, the gîte is located above the small restaurant run by the owner from June to the end of September. You will be able to enjoy a 100% organic cuisine from local producers. A bag of pellets for the stove will be provided. The second bag will be charged 15 € directly by the owner.
