It is only a short distance to the fjord and your swimming and fishing pleasure, and there are also several good hiking trails nearby. The house is located in a quiet area near Bergen, but still close enough that you can take advantage of all there is to do in the city. Visit the aquarium, fish market and pier, Fløibanen etc. Day trips to the Hardangerfjord are also absolutely recommended.
