The attractive, white sandy beach is also ideal for sunbathing or a refreshing dip in the clear water. Numerous restaurants, tennis courts, and fishing opportunities can be found in the area, and an 18-hole golf course is located just four kilometres away. Also nearby is the popular 'Hansted Reserve', a game reserve set on almost 4000 hectares of lakes, cliffs and moorland, which is home to a rich variety of animal life. Also worth a visit is the town of Hanstholm with its Museum Centre and the region's only covered shopping mall.
