The small town Floridia is about 12 km away from Syracuse and 109 m above sea level. It was founded in 1628 and today it has a population of about 23,000 residents. A blooming and peaceful countryside surrounds the town, allowing a relaxing holiday in a Mediterranean landscape. For all those looking for the waves of the sea, the sandy beach of Fontane Bianche and a beautiful rocky coastline are less than 20 km away from Floridia.

Shops of all kind, public telephone booths, bars at about 4 km, bus stop at 5 km, restaurant / pizzeria about 6 km away, newsagent at about 6 km. Penny market at 7 km. The shopping centres Carrefour and Lidl are in Syracuse.

This detached house with private pool, surrounded by a garden with Mediterranean vegetation and olive groves, is located inside a plot of about 27,000 square meters on a beautiful hillside overlooking the surrounding countryside, Siracusa and the sea. Floridia with shops of all kind and restaurants is just 3 km away from the house.


Conclusion:


Ideal for all those who want to enjoy a scenic atmosphere without giving up the conveniences of the city. Floridia with all its shops is only three minutes away by car, the sandy beach of Fontane Bianche and the attractions of Siracusa are at about 20 minutes.


Comfortable parking lot inside the property. For the duration of the stay, a rental car is recommended.

The detached house offers on one floor a spacious living area of about 100 square meters with functional furnishings for six people.


Through the front door you reach an open-space living room with sofas, fireplace, stove, flat screen TV and dining table.


The kitchen has a 4-flame gas cooker, an electric oven, microwave and toaster. Cooking here is particularly enjoyable thanks to the window with views of the landscape with pool. Very comfortable is the access to the veranda with barbecue and to other outdoor spaces directly from the kitchen.


From the living room you reach the three bedrooms of the house, all overlooking the garden and the countryside: a double bedroom with air conditioning, another double and a bedroom with two single beds. A bathroom with shower / WC. A washing machine, a portable crib and a high chair are available.


Outside accommodation:


Who is looking for a typical Sicilian ambience, will find it here and can live out his ideal. A hilly landscape offering enchanting views, fresh air in the evening, olive groves, orange trees, Mediterranean vegetation, sometimes partially untamed … you will find all this here.


A veranda surrounds the house and allows to enjoy breakfast or dinner outdoors. Right in front of the kitchen is a covered barbecue area.


A large beautiful private pool (01/05 - 30/09 opened) located on the backside of the house is available, as well as the whole property, for guests' private use. Barbecue and garden furniture available.


If you leave the kitchen not cleaned (dishes washed and tided up, garbage thrown away, sink and kitchen furniture cleaned up) 50 € are required for this extra cleaning.

    “La villa est simplement meublée mais cela est largement suffisant pour des vacances (il manque un peu de couverts et des mugs pour le petit déjeuner)
    La piscine est l'atout majeur de la maison ( elle est propre et bien entretenue
    La proximité de Syracuse est très appréciable : on peut profiter de la ville sans les inconvénients). L'accueil de Dario est parfait et sa réactivité est très appréciable !”
