This is how holiday rental owners described Cape Town
Constantia itself is one of the poshest parts of Cape Town. The lovely landscape makes you forget that you are in a big city. The houses are partly surrounded by park-like gardens, some villas also have paddocks and vineyards.
On the Constantia Valley Wine Route, you can get to know ...
show more the famous wineries in the green valley of Constantia. Groot Constantia was founded at the end of the 17th century and was given to the first governor of the Cape, Simon van der Stel, as an experimental farm for agricultural products, who mainly developed wine growing here and made Constantia wine world-famous. The Cape Dutch Mansion now contains a museum that gives an insight into the life of the first Cape settlers.
A stone's throw away is the wineries of Klein Constantia, famous for its white wines, and Buitenverwachting, which houses one of Cape Town's most exclusive restaurants. The access via an avenue lined with mighty oaks is an experience. The oldest winery in the Cape, Groot Constantia has two restaurants. A walk across the extensive estate is worthwhile simply because of the great view of the Constantia Valley. At the end of the valley is the Steenberg winery. At the beginning of the 1990s, an 18-hole golf course was built here, as well as a hotel and two restaurants.
The Constantia Valley can be easily reached via the two expressways M3 and M5, which can be reached from the N2 motorway, which runs directly past the airport, before Cape Town. Our apartments are very conveniently located to all points that are of interest to tourists.

Table Mountain (cable car) 20-25 km, Cape Nature Reserve 25-30 km, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens 5-10 km, Muizenberg Beach 15-20 km, V&A Waterfront 22-27 km, Parliament, Kloof Street and Malay Quarter 20-25 km, etc.
