There are lovely outdoor chairs and cheerful umbrellas.
The main square with the beautifull church, Plaza Almijara, is a 3-minute walk away. You will also find several cafés and restaurants here that provide excellend quality food and drinks. The centre of Cömpeta is 200 meters from Casa Marlo, there you will find multiple restaurants, cafés and small shops. The surrounding area is perfect for people that love to hike with beautifull sights everywhere you look. Cómpeta is built against the mountain, adjacent to the Sierras de Tejeda y Almijara nature reserve. The village rises above everything at a height of more than 600 meters, which ensures breathtaking views over the Mediterranean Sea, mountains and other natural beauty.
The town is called "the pearl of Axarquia". It is characterized by the narrow, atmospheric streets with cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. A unique experience to walk through!
