This heritage-protected baroque building from the 17th century, with two comfortably furnished holiday apartments, enjoys a quiet and central location free of traffic, by a little stream and very close to the historical market square in Quedlinburg.
You can drive up to the house for unloading and loading. You can book an optional parking space per day.
The building is considered “the oldest original and preserved timber-framed building on Stobenstrasse”. It was built in 1686, renovated in 2001 and 2011, and now this guesthouse offers two holiday apartments, with an accomplished combination of a historical atmosphere and modern fittings. Holiday apartment is for two people and provides 62m² of living space with a separate bedroom and a 25m² roof terrace, while holiday studio is for two guests and is on the ground floor with a garden terrace.
Owing to the location at the heart of the old town, there are cafés, bars and restaurants awaiting your visit within 100 metres. There are also shopping facilities within the same distance. The historical town centre with its timber-framed buildings is a UNESCO world heritage site with many museums. There is a swimming pool 300 metres away.
Comfortable holiday apartment with a roof terrace and a view over the rooftops of the historical old town
The holiday apartment welcomes you with a very cosy atmosphere, characterised by exposed supporting beams, sloped ceilings and carefully chosen furnishing. It comprises a separate bedroom with a double bed, a generous and open living and dining room with a pull-out sofa, as well as a spacious daylight shower room with a WC. You go upstairs and step through the front door into the open living room, with the bedroom on the right, furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm) with an adjustable head and foot section, and bedside tables with reading lamps on either side. There is a wardrobe in front of the bed with ample storage space for your luggage. Next to the bedroom there is the big shower room with a shower cubicle, a washbasin, an illuminated mirror and a window. In the open living room, you go past the dining table with four chairs to the open kitchen unit with all the necessary appliances for self-catering, including a four-ring hob with an oven, a fridge, a coffee machine, a kettle and a toaster. The living room provides a comfortable pull-out sofa and an armchair. A modern flatscreen TV with a satellite receiver and TV USB port, as well as a compact stereo system (CD/DVD(MP3) provide entertainment in the evening. Hand and bath towels, bed linen, the final cleaning and wireless Internet access are included in the rental price. The apartment is suitable for allergy sufferers.
In the rear part of the living room there is an external door leading out onto the generous roof terrace, which has a dining table and chairs inviting you to dine outdoos, with a view of the rooftops of the old town. You can relax on the two loungers and sunbathe.
