The house is on a hill, on the outskirts of the picturesque village called Sovinjak, between the two medieval towns of Buzet and Motovun, in the midst of the truffle region of Istria. The charming landscape, the tranquillity and pristine nature are ideal for families and friends seeking to relax away from the hecticness of everyday life.
Only high-quality materials were used: handcrafted stone, ancient building materials, wooden windows, shutters and doors, oak and natural stone flooring, and luxurious bathrooms with under-floor heating. No expense or effort was spared either in the interior, to create a tasteful décor with practical furnishing. The two floors totalling 200m² provide a quiet spot for everyone. The ground floor has a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining space for ten people, and an adjoining living room with an open fireplace, satellite TV and a piano. The kitchen and living room (50m²) has several doors leading out into the garden and pool area. The ground floor also has a bedroom with a bathroom (shower, washbasin, bidet, WC) with direct access to the garden. It is possible to set up a supplementary bed or cot next to the double bed. There is a guest WC and there is a spacious storage room with a washing machine and ironing board.
There are two separate sleeping areas on the upper floor. The first comprises an entrance area, a bathroom (bath, washbasin, toilet, bidet) and a bedroom, with the option to add a supplementary bed or cot next to the double bed. The second consists of an entrance area, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds) and a shared bathroom. On the same floor there is a spacious terrace with lounge furniture and a breathtaking view into the distance. The terrace can also be accessed up external stairs.
There are a second lounge suite and sun loungers next to the pool. A roofed terrace provides dining space for ten people and there is also a second terrace to the rear with dining space for four people, providing a shady spot at any time of day. There are private parking spaces for two cars and plenty of public parking spaces in front of the house.
