The village lies on the road to Saint Jacques de Compostela trail, and is also often the first stop, after the departure from Le Puy en Velay at 20 km.Many cultural discoveries are accessible in the near environment : the picturesque town of Le Puy whose site is among one of the most beautiful in Europe, the feudal fortress of Polignac, castles of Bouzols and Rochelambert, the Conservatory of lace, the lentil farm. But it is also and above all for its nature related activities this house turns out to be a small wonder : the nautic base of Monistrol d'Allier at 4 kms offers whitewater sports with rafting, canoeing, canyoning. At 10 km, a Via Ferrata offers a ropes course between hiking and climbing above the gorges of the Allier river.
