Bohuslän has been populated since the stone ages and there are many interesting ancient remains here, stone carvings, ancient grave fields and a stone circle. Bohuslän is thought to be the home of Beowulf from the Old English epic poem.The small town of Åmål is 25 kilometres away and offers cafés, restaurants, and shops. Once a year, in July, there's a blues festival which lasts a weekend. Håverud and the Dalsland Centre are 20 kilometres away. Here you will find the channel of Dalsland, museums, craftsmen, and much more.
