Our little holiday farm is situated in the beautiful valley Melbecketal (Olpe area) in the midst of the Sauerland. We have a few rabbits and guinea pigs, cats and our two dear farm dogs Heidi and Ronja on the farm. There are also the two ponies Silvi and Pino that your children can learn to ride on. We can offer the Mondschein holiday house somewhat set apart from the farm about 300 metres away, in an idyllic stand-alone location, which we let out to up to four guests who are nature lovers and are seeking peace and quiet.

Our farm also comprises the very beautiful Kornkammer apartment for up to four people and our lovely Waldblick holiday apartment for up to five people. The holiday house and the Kornkammer apartment have been classified as three-star and the Waldblick apartment as four-star.

We offer our guests with children a holiday in the countryside, where children play freely on the big farm site, play at the playground, or visit the animals.

There are local riding stables (Iceland horses), where you can take riding lessons or hire a horse. There are some trip destinations nearby, such as the Karl May Festival Elspe, the panorama park, Biggesee, Attahöhle (cave) etc. There are many well-signposted walking paths for nature lovers, where you can go on extended walks and hikes. There are hiking maps available in the house. A transfer service to and from the train station, a fridge stocking service and a bread rolls delivery service are available. A dog is allowed on request.

In the spacious bedroom you will find three single beds.

You can also use the pleated blinds on the window to darken the room if you want to take a nap or if you are a late riser.

The kitchen and living area are integrated into a common area.

Don't do without the cozy warmth of the parlor when preparing your meals.

In the kitchen you will find everything you need for your stay.

These include a fridge, freezer, stove, oven and microwave.

There is also a coffee maker, toaster, kettle and of course crockery, cutlery and glassware.

You can have your meals in the seating area or simply step through the door onto the sun terrace or the covered veranda and eat surrounded by nature.

Bright, modern and comfortable, these three adjectives perfectly describe our bathroom.

Because we are aware of how refreshing and beneficial a warm shower can be after a long day.

The result is an oasis of well-being with a rain shower, a vanity with a large, illuminated mirror, a cosmetic mirror and a toilet.

The radiator with integrated towel dryer ensures cozy bath towels.

Service water and waste water are cleaned in our own, fully biological sewage treatment plant.

The holiday home is surrounded by nature in the Sauerland.

For nature lovers there are numerous well-marked hiking trails where they can go on long hikes and walks (hiking maps are available in the house).

As a service, guests are offered a pick-up and delivery service to the train station, a refrigerator service and a bread roll service.

The almost 95-hectare Melbecketal-Rübenkamp landscape protection area is one of the ten landscape protection areas in Lennestadt and awaits you with its unique beauty.

Our farm is located in the Melbecketal, which is characterized by the brook valley with gentle meadows and wooded slopes.

Ideal conditions for a hiking holiday or for those who want to discover the area by bike.

Various hiking maps are available in the holiday home.

And maybe you're lucky and can spot rare bird species like the gray woodpecker, the red-backed shrike or the gray kite while you roam through the 120-year-old hardwood stands.

This also includes the long-distance hiking trail Rothaarsteig. The Olpe-Fahlenscheid ski area is particularly popular in winter.

If you are traveling with your own vehicle, you should definitely take a trip to the Galileo Park to the Sauerland Pyramids with changing exhibitions.

Various museums such as the mining museum Siciliaschacht in Lennestadt, the Südsauerlandmuseum in Attendorn or the local history museum in Nethpen await your visit.

In the 80-hectare Panorama-Park Kirchhundem you will find a roller bobsleigh track, a wildlife park with various native animal species and many other attractions that will make your stay here unforgettable.
