La Paganina is the former residence of the famous Nicolo Paganini. It is a three-storey house and is located in the centre of Carro. The landlord also currently lives in the house, but he moves out when it is rented out and a caretaker lives in the house next door.
On the ground floor there is a dining room and a kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and stove. Cutlery and crockery are also provided. On the first floor there is the living room with a small reading room and a flatscreen TV with satellite reception, a stereo system and a DVD player. In the marble bathroom there is a shower, WC and bidet. The apartment, as can be seen on the photos, has a very elegant interior. The terrace adjoins the kitchen and is furnished with seating and a table for four to five people.
As it is an old house, one should go up and down the stairs carefully and the exit to the terrace is also low.
Carro is a tourist locality in the Alta Val di Vara (La Spezia) and lies 500m above sea level in the middle of the countryside, surrounded by pine and chestnut trees. The nearest beach is in Levanto about 16km away. A car is necessary to get around. There are shops and restaurants a few hundred metres away.
