Elegant and stylishly furnished holiday house of the highest standards with a pool, in a building from the 19th century, surrounded by a park landscape

Owing to the central location of this exclusive holiday house at the heart of the village of Septfond, all the necessary shops are nearby. At the same time you can benefit from the secluded tranquillity of the grandiose property and can enjoy sunbathing or swimming in the pool in the big park undisturbed. The holiday residence is in a building from the 19th century in the style of Napoleon III. The elegant architecture of the red brick house, with high adorned ceilings in the rooms, will delight you. During the Belle Epoque, the house was occupied by writers, artists and musicians. Edith Piaf was also a guest here once.

The property consists of a 340m² main house, the manor house, and a completely restored 70m² annex, the dependence, in the park. The main house can accommodate ten to twelve people, the annex five people. The ground floor of the main house has an entrance hall, a living room and a dining room with fireplaces, a small parlour and a kitchen. The 32m² elegant living room with comfortable sofas has a fireplace, a TV and Internet access. The 32m² dining room features another fireplace with an open fire and provides a big dining table for 18 people. The 25m² kitchen is modern and fully-equipped, including a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, oven, fridge, toaster and coffee machine. The central kitchen island in the middle of the kitchen is particularly eye-catching. Another highlight of this kitchen is the open grill, where you can grill over the open fire to your heart’s content. On the upper floor of the house there are four bedrooms between 25 and 40m². The first bedroom for four people has a double bed, two single beds and its own bathroom with a WC. The second bedroom is for three people and has a double bed and a single bed, as well as its own bathroom with a WC. The third bedroom for two people has a double bed and its own bathroom. The fourth bedroom is for three people and provides a double bed and a single bed, along with its own bathroom. It also has a separate WC. Three cots are available. The attic has a laundry room with a washing machine, ironing board, iron and clothes horse. The annex is in the park and provides a kitchen, a separate WC and a living and dining room on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, dishwasher, washing machine and kitchen appliances. The living and dining room with a wood-burning stove has a TV. On the upper floor of the dependence there is a big bedroom with a double bed and three single beds, as well as a bathroom with a bath/shower.

The 1200m² park has mature trees. The pool and the annex are under the shade of centuries-old elm and oak trees. The 9 x 5-metre pool is secured by an alarm system. Garden furniture, sun loungers, a canopy swing, a sandpit and a grill are provided. The enclosed site has four parking spaces.

Therefore the house provides a total of five bedrooms and five bathrooms and can accommodate 15 to 17 people.

As the holiday house is in the middle of the village, all the shops are in the immediate vicinity. You can find a bakery, a café, a restaurant, a little supermarket, a doctor and a pharmacy. Everything is within a radius of 50 to 500 metres. Just a short walk from the village centre there are wonderful oak forests inviting you to go for walks.
