Private villa with pool in Le Marche. Surrounded by a green hill landscape, this holiday house is the perfect combination of peace and simplicity. The owners, English but partly of Italian origin, have preserved the original architecture of the building with all typical details of Le Marche farmhouses. The property, which is entirely fenced-in, is surrounded by a large and well groomed garden where you find a panoramic pool with small Roman stair entrance. Guests can also enjoy pleasant and relaxing dinners under the charming shaded porch equipped with tables, chairs and barbecue area.
The farmhouse is set on two levels. On the ground floor there is an ample living room with dining area with direct access to the porch and pool area, a well equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and bathroom with shower. An original steep stone staircase with narrow steps leads to the first floor consisting of a relaxing area with double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a double bedroom with additional single bed, a large bathroom with shower and bath, a double/twin bedroom and bathroom with shower.
MOGLIANO
Mogliano is on a ridge between the Cremone and the Ete Morto valley, with a gorgeous view over the Sibillini mountains. It is well know for the wicker and the leather (vimini) craft. Mogliano is surrounded by olive trees which decorate its unique landscape. The old fortress and part of the old town wall are still extant and the old town is a delight. Mogliano sits on a hilltop at 313m above sea level and is equidistant between the Sibillini mountains and the Adriatic coast and not too far from Macerata and Fermo.
HISTORICAL COMMEMORATION
The historical re-enactment "Mogliano 1744", is a charming historical and cultural event. It is an unique experience offering a special trip back in time, a slice of live of the 18th century life showing how the Moglianesi coped with the troop movements of the Empress Maria Teresa of Austria.
