The gîte is nestled in the heart of the Gaillac wine region, whose owners are themselves winemakers. The estate is less than 2km from the gîte with 11 hectares of vines worked in organic farming to offer AOP Gaillac wine.
Wine in the Tarn is a whole story! You are in a thousand-year-old vineyard since the first traces of vines appeared in the 6th century.
The gîte is located in the golden triangle Albi - Gaillac - Cordes sur Ciel, an area full of charm and authenticity, offering you an ideal setting for an unforgettable stay.
You can wander through the picturesque streets of the many hilltop villages in the surroundings, discover the rich historical heritage of the region, taste the wines of the estate, or indulge in outdoor activities. The Aiguelèze leisure center is less than 4km away with a golf club, a water park, canoe and paddleboard rental.
THE GITE
La Maison de Prat Coutel is a family house dating back to 1901. Adjoining the owners who live on site, each has its own independent entrance and without vis-à-vis.
Ground floor:
- Open kitchen with dining table, fully equipped: dishwasher, oven, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker and Nespresso capsule coffee maker, microwave, fridge with freezer (+ second fridge in the laundry room),
- Comfortable separate living room with TV and board games,
- Bedroom accessible to people with reduced mobility with double bed and adjoining shower room (grab bars)
- Independent toilet accessible to people with reduced mobility, and laundry room with washing machine, second fridge freezer and cleaning supplies.
Upstairs:
- Bedroom with double bed and small desk,
- Master bedroom with double bed and a convertible bed for children (ideal for children under 10, which can be transformed into a 90cm x 190cm bed) and adjoining shower room,
- The children's bedroom (the old grape pickers' bedroom) with 3 twin beds and a double bed,
- Shower room with large shower, wc and double sink.
Outside:
- Shaded terrace with garden furniture, a barrel with bar stool, an offset parasol.
- Approximately 500m² of private garden with a shaded area under the trees, and picnic tables for adults and one for children, gas plancha.
- Private swimming pool of 4m x 5m with steps on the side and small beach, flat bottom of 1.50m, bar pool cover. Pool open from early May to late October.
