Very close to amenities and yet so quiet

From the gîte you are 1.5km from the main road which links Castres to Albi, which makes Montpinier an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area. A small hill separates you from the road and therefore from the noises that go with it! No worries, calm guaranteed.

Less than 10 minutes by car: Lautrec, capital of the Pays de Cocagne which will reveal all its secrets to you around the famous pastel blue. Also Aquaval, the leisure center which will delight young and old with its swimming pools, slides, playground, its two large lakes for fishing or even a picnic by the water.
Only 15 minutes away, the town of Castres with all the necessary amenities: cinema, bowling, supermarkets, markets... 30 minutes away: the town of Albi, episcopal city and Sainte-Cécile Cathedral listed as World Heritage Unesco. You can also enjoy the landscapes and hikes in the heart of Sidobre and its extraordinary granite shapes, in the Haut Languedoc Regional Park

Independent house (adjoining with a garage), located in a small, quiet courtyard with two houses around.

Access to a first covered terrace facing south after 4/5 steps which opens onto the air-conditioned living room.
- kitchen equipped with an oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Senseo® pod coffee maker and a refrigerator with freezer.
- standing dining table in front of the kitchen,
- lounge area with sofa, armchair and TV with Free® offer and board games

From the living room, access to the second north-facing terrace, facing the hill, with dining table, garden furniture and electric plancha.

Air-conditioned sleeping area, accessible from the living room via a small staircase of around ten steps.

- bedroom with a 140x190cm double bed and dressing room,
- bedroom with two single beds 80x200cm that can be joined together,

Outside: large courtyard in front of the gîte where you can park. In front of the house and all around the gîte, garden which extends over agricultural fields. 150 meters on foot, below the gîte, is the small Poulobre stream in which you can cool off your feet (if it doesn't dry up in summer!).
