At an altitude of 800m, Carausse is a small hamlet typical of the Gijou valley, in the heart of the Monts de Lacaune, in the Haut Languedoc Natural Park. The hamlet is a true haven of greenery and freshness in summer, the surrounding woods are a paradise for mushroom lovers, when the mists of the valley envelope the sides of the surrounding peaks. The owners have patiently rehabilitated this old building, all in stone and exposed beams. Fishing, hiking, discovery of the Gijou valley and total rest will make up the program for your vacation. The Lacaune station, 4 km away, offers you all the services. The Espace des Sources Chaudes allows you to relax in all seasons. The little train trail, greenway, is very close.
**Le Gîte**
Gite at the exit of a small mountain hamlet, quiet, adjoining a second home occupied occasionally. Ground floor: living room, kitchen area, bathroom with toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a 3-burner gas stove with oven, a mixer, beater, chopper, pressure cooker, microwave, filter coffee maker, salad spinner and various dishes and cooking accessories.
Upstairs on the mezzanine, two double beds. Electric heating, fireplace. Board games: scrabble, mikados.
Small terrace at the entrance + large terrace below shaded by a hazel tree and rural view, with barbecue. Parking and private garage
