The Eifel Pilgrims' Cycle Path connects two of the most powerful monasteries in the region, Himmerod and Klausen, and builds a bridge between the Moselle and the Eifel. The well-known Maare-Moesl cycle path runs along the former railway line that connected Daun in the Volcanic Eifel and Bernkastel on the Moselle until 1981. The ride over the old viaducts and through the former railway tunnels is definitely one of the top 10 activities during your stay here!
Hikers can choose from an almost inexhaustible range of circular and long-distance hiking trails starting from our front door. The Eifelsteig with its fascinating adventure loops, the Lieserpfad and small tours through the neighbouring Eifel forests guarantee relaxation at every turn.
