Spending a few days in Sarnico (BG) means embracing its style, among chic worldliness, boutiques, medieval suggestions and sports on the lake. Choosing to stay at Volo di Libellula, a few minutes' walk from the centre, adds the pleasure of a dip in the pool and the convenience of being able to move around in total freedom with the lakeside promenade below the house: you have a garage with lift to the floor, and park when you arrive and you forget the car; if you invite friends or family, in front of the entrance you will find numerous free public parking spaces.
The complex to which the two-room apartment on the first floor belongs welcomes you with lots of greenery everywhere and tree-lined paths, your home with large, well-distributed spaces and a terrace overlooking the lake. The living room, where the tidy contrasts between black and white are softened by the hazelnut parquet floor, houses the kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, moka pot and coffee machine with Nespresso pods as well as a table with chairs, sofa bed and large flat screen TV. There is heating and air conditioning, the terrace is protected by mosquito nets and shaded by sun blinds; we provide you with a washing machine and Dyson vacuum cleaner. One of the wealthiest towns in Italy, certainly worldly and historic site of the highly prestigious Riva shipyards, characterized by a particularly mild summer climate, Sarnico overlooks the lake and forms its extreme southern shore. It connects the two provinces of Bergamo and Brescia and is very close to the famous Franciacorta wineries. On the lake it is possible to practice kite and windsurf, rowing, water skiing, and wander around by boat; in the village you can admire towers, castles, walls and medieval fortresses, as well as various Art Nouveau villas built by the local Faccanoni family.

Just over an hour from Milan, Bergamo and their respective international airports, Lake Iseo is characterized by Montisola, the largest lake island in Southern and Central Europe and a valuable tourist destination, reachable by dedicated motorboats which, all where necessary, they also transport tourists to the numerous food and wine destinations along the lake; water sports are practicable thanks to the numerous rental services. A very short distance away are the Franciacorta wineries, nearby Zone with its natural pyramids, the Torbiere del Sebino Reserve, Valcamonica for archaeological tourism with its 300,000 rock engravings, Boario for the thermal baths and the slopes of Monte Pora, Montecampione and Colere for walking and skiing.
