Situated in the south of the region of Les Landes (Aquitaine), Messanges offers numerous opportunities for an active as well as relaxing vacation. The small village is located 4 km north of Vieux-Boucau and a 5-minutes bike ride from the beach of Messanges-Plage. The hospitable village is situated in a stunning forest environment stretching over 3400 hectares and has a wonderful, wide, and 5 km long beach. The waves attract many surfers and surf schools to Messanges. However, the guarded parts of the beach allow for safe swimming.
