Calm and rejuvenation, the warmth of a dovecote in a traditional hamlet at the gates of Albi and the upper Tarn valley.
A good twenty years to rehabilitate this old farmhouse and its Dovecote (your gîte) on the verge of abandonment... We still took our time! At the bottom of a hamlet of around thirty inhabitants, where the road ends, you will find our residence surrounded by a fenced park of 3900 m². The hamlet of Lacalm, commune of Saint-Grégoire 3km away, lives up to its name, located on the heights of the start of the Tarn Valley, it is only 15 minutes from the center of Albi, 30 minutes from Ambialet ( Tarn loop) or Cordes-sur-Ciel (medieval city)... But we will be there to explain everything to you.
** THE GITE **
The old Dovecote will be your lodging. The pigeons have left their place for, on the ground floor a living room with 2 armchairs, table, TV and equipped kitchenette (fridge with freezer, toaster, microwave, oven, kettle, filter coffee maker and coffee maker Senseo® pods).
Upstairs, the bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Outside to enjoy the sun and the blue sky, the Milky Way and the shooting stars, your terrace, garden furniture, swimming pool (8x4m, depth 1.4m), barbecue and plancha available.... The owners do not swim when holidaymakers occupy the dovecote.
Please note: the swimming pool is open from June to September, please note these dates may vary depending on the structure, please contact the reservation service (covered swimming pool in winter).
Access to our laundry room to use the washing machine if necessary.
An independent entrance is available for vacationers with a secure gate where you can leave your car. Access to the dovecote is then at the rear of the house.
On site, you will meet our 3 very friendly Cavalier King Charles, and you can feed the chickens if you wish.
