Serène is a magnificent stone property, perched on a hill, a former farm of the Templars of Vaour, below the village on the road to Itzac. In the hollow of a valley, facing a small cirque with wooded ridges, there is a feeling of tranquility and serenity.
Absolutely worth discovering during your stay: the Pays des Bastides, the fortress of Penne, the villages of Puycelsi or Cordes-sur-ciel, the Gaillac vineyards and of course the famous Episcopal City of Albi (Cathedral, Palais de la Berbie, Toulouse-Lautrec museum)...
The welcome in lodgings and guest rooms takes on its full meaning here. The Petit Serène is adjoining the Grand Serène which accommodates up to 10 people: reference G1796 on Gîtes de France.
Those who wish can discover farm life, or explore the numerous hiking trails crisscrossing the Grésigne and the high plateaus of the Pays de Vaour or even enjoy the forest paths located on the property. La Ferme de Serène is located below the gîtes. You will be able to see the Aubrac cow herd with the calves raised under the mother; or the black pigs of Périgord.
** THE GITE **
Gite at the end of the wing housing the guest rooms (reference G2129).
The cottage consists of only two rooms: the living room on the ground floor, with open kitchen and lounge area (fireplace), and the bedroom upstairs, with bathroom and toilet.
Outside: you will enjoy the shade of the walnut tree in front of the gîte with table and charcoal barbecue. There is no shortage of outdoor spaces! You will come across the owners and occupants of the other gîte (or guest room), but Serene is a house perched on a hill, surrounded by nature and the forest so it is difficult to be inconvenienced!
Swimming pool to share with other people present. Open from June 1 to September 31. 12x6m salt pool with progressive fung from 1 to 1.80m. It is accessible at all hours.
Oil central heating. Baby equipment on request.
