The small farm in the hollow of the valley
Between Tarn and Aveyron lie the Ségala plateaus, a small corner of countryside mixing fields and small groves, crossed by multiple streams and rivers, which we call here the Land of the Hundred Valleys. The region is pleasant in summer, cool and green. You can swim (supervised swimming) at Lac de la Roucarié or at Cap Découverte, a real sports leisure complex (grass skiing, Dévalkart, water ski lift, swimming pools, etc.) built on the grounds of the former mines. The Mining Museum is a beautiful evocation of the coal epic in Carmaux.
Also set off to discover the little hidden treasures of Ségala, on walks and hikes, to the Viaur d'Eiffel viaduct, the Planques chapel, the Ambialet peninsula, etc. Just a 30-minute drive away, the Soulages museum in Rodez, and of course the Episcopal City of Albi, classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

** THE GITE **
Independent house, totally isolated in the countryside, set in an old small farm typical of Ségala. The adjoining barn as well as the old bread oven are still there, as in the past. At the bottom of a valley, surrounded by fields, with a private path, calm and rest are guaranteed.
Ground floor :
- kitchen on the right with dining table. Access to the bathroom with toilet from the kitchen.
* Kitchen equipped with oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, filter coffee maker.
- living room to the left of the entrance with convertible sofa, TV, books and board games
Upstairs the two bedrooms:
- a first with a 90cm bed and a 120cm bed for sleeping,
- the second bedroom with a 140cm double bed, a 90cm single bed and a high bed with 2 90cm beds.
In the shed next to the house: washing machine available.
Outside: approximately 1500m² of enclosed and shaded land, charcoal barbecue, garden table, portico, shelter. Around the lodge, fields of cereals or pasture where you will see sheep and cows from time to time.
