The cosy, comfortable and spacious holiday home is located on the banks of the river Tarn in Rivières (in a closed street). From sunrise 'till late in the evening you can relax on the terrace that overlooks the imposing Tarn. The picture is complete with a glass of delicious red or slightly sparkling white wine from a local winery.
The region around Gaillac, with its mild microclimate, was already renowned for its delicious wines at the time of Roman rule. From the 10th century onwards, the production of wine was systematically improved by the Benedictine monks and elevated to a true art. Even today, with the many winegrowers in the immediate vicinity, wine production is an important economic activity. Wine cellars can be visited and wine tasted.
The Tarn also offers many opportunities for water recreation such as boat trips, kayak and canoe, pedalo, paddle board or splash in the clear water (during summer in a demarcated and monitored area with an aqua park, 50 m from the house).
