In the heart of the Fenouillèdes region, close to the Cathar sites (Puilaurens and Quéribus castles) and Bugarach, in a superb, peaceful, green setting close to the Matassa river (classified as a 1st category river), the mas Les Albas is a haven of peace that will delight nature lovers. Halfway between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean, not far from the Spanish border, this recently tastefully renovated stone farmhouse offers 2 gites, each with its own entrance. Supervised swimming at 7 km (Prats de Sournia swimming pool) or unsupervised swimming at 300 m (river). Garden level: living room with fully equipped kitchen opening onto a private 20 m2 terrace (garden furniture), 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm), shower room (wc). A mezzanine offers a reading area and a convertible sofa for 2 extra beds. Shared washing machine on site. On site: 2 family hiking trails and fishing in the river.
