The water is clear and the sand so fine that it was used for hourglasses until the 19th century. Napoleon also knew how to appreciate the fine sand. Water rats, shell seekers and castle builders are in good hands here! The idyllic location of the small town between the pines bent by the wind and the mighty dunes, which are constantly changing due to the fine breeze, is unique.
