Nilimella is a magnificent kelo log villa near the lake Sevettijärvi. There are a few neighboring cabins, otherwise a quiet place. This is an excellent base for wilderness activities and nature holidays in the northeastern side of Lapland. Fishing: famous salmon fishing river Näätämöjoki within 16 km (no road connection, 8 km walking distance). In summer, flying taxi (float plane) operates from Sevettijärvi. Fishing permits and additional information, see destination 1565 Näätämöjoki. The destination 1564 Inari Wilderness covers large areas of fishing waters nearby cabin. Fishing in lakes is permitted with fisheries management fee. One fishing rod and one lure can be used. However, fishing is not allowed in flowing water areas. For more information, You can book snowmobile transports to ice fishing waters from the owner. Hunting: The cabin is located near the state owned small game hunting area Vätsäri (only willow grouse). Sevettijärvi is the center of Skolt Sámi Heritage in the north. Orthodox church, Skolt Sámi Heritage House and handcraft exhibition (open in summer) 1,5 km.
