Mastershausen is a village from which you can go anywhere. The area is used a lot by hikers, cyclists and bikers. From the house you have direct access to the premium hiking trail "Masdascher Burgherrenweg" which is part of the Saar-Hunsrück dream loops. This was voted Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2018 (category tours) in the audience vote of the magazine "Wandermagazin"! Within a radius of 20 km alone there are 10 very beautiful hiking trails in the Hunsrück region, which are part of the Saar-Hunsrück dream loops. From September 2015 the longest suspension rope bridge in Germany at a height of 100m and a length of 360m over the Mörsdorfer Bachtal, the Geierlay Bridge, was completed in the neighboring village.
