It belongs to the climatic health resort Waldbreitbach in the middle of the Wiedbach valley between Neustadt Wied and Neuwied. The holiday home is the ideal starting point for your hikes around Waldbreitbach. On selected hiking trails you can hike interesting themed hiking routes such as the Klosterweg, the Wiedtaler Höhenpfad, the Wiedblick-Tour or the Bärenkopp. The centre of Waldbreitbach is only 5 minutes away by car (1.5 km). In addition to the large fireworks display "Wied in Flammen" (Wied in Flames) in conjunction with the funfair in August or a visit to the cot exhibition with over 1700 cots, which is open all year round, many other interesting events take place in Waldbreitbach throughout the year.
