If you don't feel like shopping or cooking, Telgte offers numerous restaurants. The centre of this charming town is the market square. From there it is only a few metres to the RELGIO Museum and the Ems. Beautiful footpaths run along the banks, as does the Ems cycle path. Telgte offers cyclists a huge range of options. Several themed routes lead through the town and open up the surrounding area. Warendorf, Münster, Harkotten Castle near Sassenberg and the Rieselfelder nature reserve are worthwhile excursion destinations.
