The generous house is in the little village Kastelir, just 8km from Porec, in a quiet residential area. From the terrace you can look out over olive trees and the surroundings as far as the sea and Porec. The surroundings are forested with stone and offer abundant nature. You can go cycling or walking in the Mediterranean surroundings directly from the house.
We rent out the ground floor of the villa with two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room for 4 guests. The basement remains closed and unoccupied in this case. The entrance area is generous and 8-10 people can be seated in the light living and dining room with a kitchen, which is fully-equipped with a filter coffee machine, dishwasher, stove, toaster, microwave, oven, fridge with freezer compartment and tea towels.
The dining room opens onto the lovely roofed terrace and from there into the garden. The well-tended and fenced garden has a shaded grill area, a pool (5 x 6m) with sun loungers and an outdoor shower. It is in a quiet location, an ideal place for those seeking privacy and peace and quiet. There are private car parking spaces in front of the house on the enclosed site.
The houses are rented out privately by the owner, with personal attention. There is a friendly local contact person who is happy to assist with any queries. During the main season the accommodation is only let out by the week (Saturday to Saturday), exceptions on request. Please bring your own towels for the pool and beach, as well as a hairdryer. The local infrastructure is good. There is a supermarket with a bakery and butcher, as well as a hairdresser and bar. You can walk to a little grocery shop (for buying fresh bread rolls for breakfast), as well as restaurants. It is about 8km to Porec with its historical shopping alleys and harbour. Porec is a well-known tourist town with many cultural monuments and a wide range of sports, as well as many restaurants, cafes and a well-presented beach that is suitable for children of all ages. Lawns and shady trees, lounger hire and showers on the beach ensure an enjoyable day. In and around Porec you can find an aquapark, diving school, riding facilities, many tennis courts, cycling and walking paths right by the sea etc. Many villages that have kept their original Istrian style are worth a visit. Whether a boat trip, cycle tour or with your own car, there are many ways to spend a pleasant day.
