Lage:
This house which is flooded with lights is located on the outskirts of St. Veit, on the sunny slopes, above the Defereggental. It is situated at the end of a side street, very calm but still perfectly reachable by car. Because of the altitude there is still natural snow in winter and fresh mountain air in summer. Here you are amidst the national park Hohe Tauern, surrounded by the mountain chains such as the Defereggengebirge, the Riesenfernergruppe, the Lasörlinggruppe and the Schobergruppe.
Entfernungen:
Town center St. Veit in 1,5km. Skiing area St. Jakob (7 ski lifts, 23km slopes, Kinderland and fun park) in 7km. The skiing area reaches until an altitude of 2.525m and is famous for its perfect snow and the wonderful panoramic view. Make use of the "ski hit Kärnten Osttirol Angebot" = special offer, including 6 skiing regions and 65 ski lifts! Großglockner Kals-Matrei (41,6 km slopes) in 21km from here, Lienz in 33km. The Defereggental also offers about 70km cross-country ski runs, several toboggan runs and wonderful ski tours. In summer, there are varied routes as well as difficult tours to the peak - for hiker as well as for mountain biker. But you can also take the cable car or an e-bike (special e-bike routes) to reach the peak. The Defereggental offers streams, waterfalls and mountain lakes - perfect for kayaking.

Ground floor: living room (more than 40m2) with exit to the terrace, couch corner, satellite TV, woodburning stove, dining table and kitchenette. 1 toilet, 1 shower, 1 double room. Upper floor: 1 double room with terrace. At the attic room (south side, 25m2) with balcony are 6 beds, which you can stash at the side wall at the push of a button, to have more space. Floor heating, WiFi available. In front of the house is a terrace with barbecue. Enjoy the countryside and the wonderful view.
