Idyllically situated holiday house with a sea view and a private swimming bay with a mooring
The detached holiday house is on a large site planted with olive trees, on a quiet cul-de-sac used only by few cars. It is about a 50-metre walk to the sea and the private bay with a swimming and boat jetty.
The rustic holiday house has a partially heated interior of around 50m², comprising a fully-equipped living room-kitchen with a wood-burning stove, two bedrooms and a WC. Both bedrooms are furnished with a French bed 140cm wide and the second also has an additional bunk bed for two further people. Indoors there is a WC with a toilet and washbasin, whilst there is an outdoor shower next to the roofed terrace right by the house. The hot water for the shower is heated by a solar boiler. The water comes from a rainwater cistern, as is typical for this type of Croatian house. The external insulation and window shutters ensure a pleasant interior climate.
The accommodation is on a site of around 3000m² with a garden for your own exclusive use. The site is enclosed by a 180cm-high wall, with the exception of the entrances. It is about 50-150 metres to two further houses, but which are not let out during your stay. The roofed terrace right by the house provides a variety of garden furniture. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and the islands in front, including the Kornati archipelago and the island Dugi Otok. With a bit of luck, you can watch dolphins swimming. Apart from the terrace, there is a roofed outdoor seating area sheltered from the wind, with an outdoor grill, gas stove and sink, as a welcome alternative to cooking indoors. The outdoor seating area made of stone also affords a fantastic view of the Adriatic. A 50-metre-long path leads directly to the sea and your private swimming bay with a jetty and ladder. There is a car park with two private outdoor parking spaces about 100 metres from the house.
Please note that a section of the access to the accommodation is along a gravel track of around 2km. The power supply (230 volts) is self-sufficient and is generated in an environmentally friendly manner with solar cells. The existing electricity storage system supplies the refrigerator and the television set and sufficient light output and electricity are available for charging various devices (laptop, etc.). It is not possible to use a hair dryer or a coffee machine. But coffee can be brewed conventionally.
It is about 4km to a small grocery shop. A larger shop and a butcher are about 9km away. The owner and your local contact person, Mr. Koch, can arrange private boat trips with an oldtimer boat on request. It is recommended to visit eg. the island Dugi Otok with Telašćica national park and the Kornati national park with around 100 islands. On land, Paklenica national park in the beautiful Velebit mountains invites you to pay a visit.
