An Airigh, translated in Gaelic means shieling or hill pasture in Summer. This luxury self catering cottage offers a central location and is situated within one mile from the centre of Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. The cottage can accommodate comfortably up to 4 persons. Stornoway is a bustling town with a range of local shops and restaurants. Lews Castle overlooks a busy fishing harbour. Wooden flooring is fitted in the kitchen, hallway and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with fitted units. We provide a ceramic hob and fan assisted oven/grill, microwave oven, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer unit. The living room is tastefully furnished to a very high standard. Comfortable leather seating is provided along with a dining area for formal use. A large wall mounted Flatscreen TV, Hi-Fi Unit with CD player and a good library of books, DVD’s and magazines are provided in the bookcase for your enjoyment. The property has High Speed Wireless (Wi-Fi) Internet Access along with telephone handsets throughout. The bathroom is fully fitted and comes complete with walk-in shower unit. Both Double and Twin Bedrooms are fitted with orthopaedic beds and have fitted storage and dressing tables.
