Cosy holiday apartment in the green heart of Germany
This holiday apartment is on the ground floor of a detached apartment building in the little old goldmining town Steinheid, in the midst of the Thüringer Wald. The apartment looks out towards the world-famous Rennsteig, the high-altitude hiking trail on the Thüringer Wald ridge. The litte town is right by the 868-metre-high Kieferle, one of the highest mountains of the Thüringer Schiefergebirge. The special charm of the little locality consists of the little houses with roofs of typical blue-black slate, nestling against the mountain like a castle mound.
This 80m² apartment has a cosy and comfortable interior. The living room provides a sofa, a coffee table, an armchair and a flatscreen TV with satellite channels, as well as a dining corner with a table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and a dining table with four chairs. There are two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed (180cm wide), the other with a kingsize bed (160cm wide). The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, washbasin and hairdryer. Internet can be used for a fee.
The outdoor area features a little terrace for your own exclusive use, with comfortable seating and a grill. It lies amidst nature and exudes a special flair. There are a swing and a sandpit for children. The guest part of the garden is also for your own exclusive use. You can park your car free of charge on a private space. Pets are allowed on request.
As the owners live on site, you have a local contact person in case of any queries. The owners can arrange a morning bread rolls delivery service or a typical grill evening with Thuringian specialities.
