Quiet apartment in an old building, with a view of the Augarten
The holiday apartment is in the middle of Vienna, right opposite the Augarten, one of the most beautiful and quietest parks in Vienna. It affords an open view over the whole park, as far as the Ferris wheel.
The apartment is on the third floor of a typical old Viennese patrician house, without a lift. Ceilings almost four metres high and classical parquet flooring give the apartment a special flair. It measures around 80m² and provides two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a separate WC. All the rooms have central heating. The big bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and a pull-out double bed (90 x 200cm, or 180 x 200cm when pulled out). The smaller bedroom has two single beds (90 x 190cm). The living room provides a suite, another pull-out double bed (90 x 200cm, or 180 x 200cm when pulled out) and a flatscreen TV with cable channels. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an oven, stove, dishwasher and microwave. You can enjoy a beautiful view out onto greenery from the dining table with eight chairs. The bathroom has a bath, a shower and a washing machine (use free of charge). There is also a separate WC with a washbasin. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the apartment and is of course free.
There are public parking spaces in front of the house. The park & ride spaces are also to be recommended in Vienna.
The Augarten is ideal for strolling, jogging or relaxing. There are also restaurants there with lovely gardens, as well as a family swimming pool and the school of the world-famous Viennese boys’ choir. The 20th district, Brigittenau, is between the Danube Canal and the Danube and has always been a popular residential district in Vienna. It is not far from the centre, but still pleasantly quiet. Here you can find shops and entertainment, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and bars. The nearest supermarket is just 50 metres away. There are also perfect public transport connections. It is just 200 metres to a tram stop (lines 31, 33 and 5, each of which takes you to the nearest underground station in less than five minutes, for lines U2, U4 and U6.) Therefore you can get anywhere in Vienna within 30 to 40 minutes. It is just 10 minutes to Stephansplatz and therefore the centre of Vienna, about 15 minutes to the Prater and a maximum of 25 minutes to Schönbrunn Castle.
