Converted from a farmhouse dating back some 150 years, and basking in the sun-soaked tranquility of fragant orange groves, Casa da Horta lies on the road between Vale Carro and Olhos de Agua, a kilometre from the village of Acoteias, two kilometers east of Olhos de Agua and two and a half kilometers from the fabulous long, sandy beach at Falesia.

Locally, there are two restaurants 700 meters from, different directions, one of them in Acoteias, where you will also find two supermarkets, several other restaurants and bars and a delightful, coast-hugging, nine hole golf course at the Sheraton Golf and Country Club (one and a half kilometers). Olhos de Agua has three excellent beach-side restaurants, the beach itself one of the prettiest in the area. The lively resort of Praia da Oura is six kilometers away with a fantastic array of day and night time activity, and the popular resort town of Albufeira is two kilometers further on.


The local country lanes are not always paved and so we recommend that you take advantage of our excellent car rental rates for at least past of your stay at this lovely little holiday haven.


Modest and beautiful 14 well-equipped cottage apartments, similar in character but each with an unique size and layout.

Comfortable, clean and homely with a personal and country touch.

Each One bedroom apartment accomodates up to 4 people.

Each Two bedroom apartment accomodates up to 6 people.


Each unit has 1 or 2 bedrooms with double or twin beds, a storage space with wardrobe, sofa-bed, TV, air conditioning and a safe. The Dining area has a kitchenette equipped with everything you need for your daily meals ( freezer - fridge, crockery, utensils, electric kettle, toaster, etc). Each apartment has the own private balcony and has the table and chairs.

Some of them have a bathroom with Shower or Bath.


Inside also has access to Internet wifi.

For your safety there is a fire extinguishers in every apartment as well fire blankets and smoke detectors.


Outside you have the lovely patio furnished with tables and chairs for outdor dining. There is a area outside where you have a communal washing machine. Sharing Swimming pools divided into shallow end for children´s and deeper part for adults, 3 BBQ, Pic nic areas, Playground area, Gardens, Snooker/Pool table and Parking.


Safety: Main gate is automatic and the surrounding area is fenced off.


Prices include: Regular cleaning service, all household towels and linens. All utilities (gas, water, electricity). Air-conditioning and heating. TV with local and international channels (Only free channels available). Cots and Highchairs for infants.
