Only a 5 mins drive or 15 mins stroll along the Rio Chico to the town of Orgiva, with its many bars restaurants, shops and banks, the cottage offers the perfect retreat in which to relax. Experience your own choice of the local food and wines on the shaded river stone terrace accompanied by the soothing flow of water from the irrigation stream that runs through the property. Explore the large organic garden of olive, avocado, orange, lemon, quince, and almond trees and watch the many birds that visit the huge chestnut tree near by. Swim in the crisp clear water of the 8x4m swimming pool. Enjoy the complete privacy of sunbathing around the pool . If you can drag yourself away from all of this, Orgiva is just 1 hour from Granada and the Alhambra Palace, only 30 mins from the coast, and 1.5 hours drive to the ski resort.

    «le descriptif des équipements n'est pas vraiment conforme à la réalité. il n'y a pas de lecteur dvd, ni la tv par satellite. la vaisselle n'est pas de très bonne qualité (poele, casserole) et en quantité insuffisante. difficultés pour avoir de l'eau a température souhaité autant pour faire la vaisselle, que pour la douche.
    la propriétaire que nous supposons avoir rencontré, ne s'est pas montré très curieuse de savoir si le logement nous avait apporté satisfaction.
    habituellement et ailleurs les contacts humains sont de bien meilleure qualité.
    la maison est par ailleurs très agréable et très bien situé, dans un endroit très calme et pittoresque.»

    «I am sorry that you had cause to comment in a negative way. Regarding the DVD player, yes this was an oversight on my behalf and I have now removed this item from the list of amenities at the house. Regarding Satelite TV, this is at the house, it is serviced with Sky TV which is mainly in English but also has some other language channels so I have no idea why you were not able to use it or why you didn't ask the manager of the house who lives in a nearby property. I also do not understand why you couldn't use the sufficient hot water and again why you didn't ask the manager who would have explained to you how to use the standard taps.
    I do not live in Spain and at no point did I say to you that you would meet me. I market my house mainly in the summer and only to couples, I have rented it for 6 years and this is the first time that the crockery has come under question and I consider there to be plenty for 2 people staying short periods. However thank you for your positive comments regarding the house.»
