If you ever wanted to run across green meadows, swim in clear lakes and walk through fabulous forests? You can experience all of this in Småland, which is also known from many stories by Astrid Lindgren.
The house with two floors provides every comfort and convenience for up to 5 people. The rooms are cosy with a typical Swedish décor. The ground floor of around 60m² has a cosy living room with a sofa suite (three-seater, two-seater and armchair) and a Swedish tiled fireplace stove, as well as international satellite TV, a DVD player, stereo system and board games. The dining room is for up to six people and has a homely atmosphere. There is another dining space in the 17m² conservatory, inviting you to sit together or to sunbathe. If the sun is not shining then you can makes yourselves comfortable on one of the loungers, relax or perhaps simply read a book. The dining and hallway provide access to the fully-equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob with touch buttons, a convection oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, mixer, egg cooker, kettle and dishwasher. The first floor has two bedrooms each with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and a shower room with a shower, WC and bidet. The orange bedroom also has a fixed single bed (90 x 200cm) and another little room for your clothing and luggage. The blue bedroom has a wall cupboard for your luggage, as well as a little walk-in wardrobe.
This lovely holiday house is at the entrance to the little locality of Vena in Småland and is fully-equipped and furnished for up to five people. The charm of the 1920s, which is when the house was built, was preserved during the renovation work.
The house is in Vena, between Hultsfred and Vimmerby, the birthplace of Astrid Lindgren. The house Astrid Lindgren was born in is now open to visitors. You can travel through time and visit the different times in the life of this famous author. At the “Astrid Lindgren Värld” you can encounter Pippi Longstocking and many other popular characters from her stories. Büllerby and the Katthult farm where Michel from Lönneberga was once at home, is not far from the house. It is about 10 minutes from the little town of Hultsfred, which has a good range of leisure and shopping facilities. On the short stretch between Vena and Hultsfred there is also a very beautiful, clear swimming lake with a sandy beach, especially suitable for children as it is very flatly shelved.
The garden provides garden furniture, a parasol and a grill. You can park your car right in front of the house.
