Holiday villa with a shared pool and a terrace, in a quiet location away from hustle and bustle
The modern holiday villa is in the Aktaspark built in 2005 with 120 residential units, in the hills in the Gümüslük region.
The house is furnished in a modern style and has air conditioning units in the living room and in all the bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and the children’s rooms each have a single bed with an additional pull-out bed. The kitchen includes a dishwasher and washing machine. There is a dining room with a dining table and chairs adjoining the kitchen. There is comfortable seating in the living room. Wireless Internet access is available free of charge up to 4GB (additional usage payable) in the house, while wireless Internet access by the pool is free.
The enormous shared pool with a kids’ pool is the meeting place for the complex and is about 100 metres from the house. The house is on a 200m² site with its own garden. The three terraces and the enormous 120m² roof terrace afford a fantastic view of the surrounding Greek islands, such as Kalymnikos or Kos.
There is a big supermarket (Migros) about 800 metres away, within easy walking distance. There are other shops in Gümüslük, Yalikavak and Turgutreis, where you can also find banks, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and other big supermarkets, some of which are open 24hrs. All the towns are easy to get to by car or by collective taxi (Dolmus) right by the main road, about 70 metres below the house. The weekly markets in Turgutreis and Yalikavak invite you to do elaborate shopping. You can walk to the fruit and vegetable market in Gümüslük in a leisurely 20 minutes along the main road. The most well-known fish restaurants in the region are in the Gümüslük harbour. The next bay has the Gümüslük public beach, where use of all loungers is free, and you can order a snack or a drink at the bars. Between the harbour and the bay there is a cliff that you should definitely climb to enjoy the fantastic view over the island world. Here there is also Myndos, the ruins of a sunken ancient town. Boats can take you on a day trip from Turgutreis to the Greek island of Kos, or to explore the bays in the region. In Bodrum there are the St. Peter castle of the Knights of St. John, the Museum of Submarine Archaeology and the Mausoleum of King Mausolos. Children can enjoy themselves the whole day at the water park with countless slides. There are many bars and the largest open-air disco in Europe in Bodrum, the Harlikanas. It is about 50km to the Bodrum Milas airport and about 250 km to the Izmir airport. A rental car is recommended.
