Welcome to one of the many apartments of our vacation rental service Travemünde! This is where you will find a home for as long as you wish to stay.
The Maritim stands directly next to both the Travemünde Beach and the estuary of the Trave. It towers the waters with its 125 meters. The hotel is located on the 5th to the 14th floors. All the other floors are private apartments partly in use for vacation rentals. All floors can be reached with the elevators. There are no regular stairs (only the fire exit stairs). Europe highest lighthouse light is on the rooftop in 114,7 m height. This light took over in 1974 for the oldest lighthouse Germany, the old Travemünde Lighthouse, stuck only a few meters behind the tower.

MARITIM-RESIDENZ, 15th floor, approx. 17 m², very elegant and modern one room (small) apartment for 1-2 persons. Trave (Passat and port) view. No balcony. Living- and bedroom combined, sofa bed (approx. 1,65 x 2m), glass coffee table, LED-TV. On a platform is the dining table and two chairs in front of the window with magnificient view from the beach to the harbour entrance of Travemünde and the passat, new kitchenette with refrigerator (plus freezer), microwave with grill, 2 ceramic hobs , no oven, cooker hood, sink, coffee- and Nespresso machine, toaster, electric water kettle, egg cooker. Small bathroom with white tiles with basin, WC and shower. Hair-dryer is also available. In the apartment is hardwood floor.

You can book a parking card for € 10/night for the Maritim parking garage. Please contact us if you wish to book one.
You will find a covered outdoor parking space for bikes with holders next to the entrance of the residence.
Directions to the apartment:
Take the elevator up to the 15th floor. Turn right out of the elevator into the long hallway. You will find a wooden door on the right with the sign 326 A15, Kajüte. Please go through this door behind which there is a short hallway and then straight ahead you will see the apartment.
You will find wellness offers like swimming pool, sauna, cosmetic, hairdresser or restaurants and coffee shops at extra costs in the house.
The visitor tax is not included in the final booking price!
The tax amounts to € 1.60/night per person from January 1st to May 14th and September 15th to December 31st and to € 3 from May 15th to September 14th.
Cancellation
If the tenant cancels the contract after making the down-payment the vacation rental service will withhold an amount of € 29 as a service fee. The remain of the down-payment will be refunded.
If you cancel later than 60 days before the begin of your stay the full amount will still be due. We advise to a cancellation insurance, which you can contract up to 10 days following the booking. If we are able to rent the place for either the whole time period or at least part of it, the due amount will be diminished consequently. The tenant is allowed to name another person as a replacement.

Please note that that during the summertime the beach will be cleaned up mechanically early mornings and there might be disturbances by noise. Seaweed might get washed ashore and then stored on the beach, which might cause unpleasant odors. None of these nuisances give a right to lower the price or ask for compensation.
Please note furthermore that there will be events along the promenade and on the beach – especially on weekends – and that it might get louder around those times. We also would like to point out that the Travemünder Woche, the second biggest world sail event, always takes place at the end of July. Please ask about the exact dates if you don’t want to book around that time.
