You will find the contemplative village GREIMERATH as a tranquil place in the timber forest.
In the middle of this original village, our restaurant “Greimerather Forst” is situated near by our new guesthouse also called “Greimerather Forst”.
This house has been redeveloped fundamentally. Four new holiday flats represent our slogan, fitted with a lot of wood.
All flats are disposed with a balcony (south-side-view) with garden furniture and a fantastic view on forest and natural environment.
The original wooden furniture gives our guest rooms this unique good atmosphere.
An optimal base station for your bike-trips or walking tours, near by the entry into the “Traumschleife Greimerather Höhenweg” and only 400 m to the cycle track which guides you directly to the Saar-Ruwer-Cycle track.
Explore the region and start from Greimerath. Travel tours to the cities Saarburg and Trier (the eldest city of Germany with a wonderful cathedral), your excursion will be rewarded by interesting cultural discoveries.
Enrich your day with a trip to the nearby lake of Losheim “Losheimer Stausee”, the Saarschleife in Mettlach and a visit of the many wine cellars along the rivers Saar and Mosel.
The international cities of Luxemburg and Strasbourg can be easily reached in 1-2 hours.

The holiday flat ‘Buchwald‘ (35 sqm) has a combinated bed- and livingroom (double bed), one bathroom with shower/WC, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a dining area. The flat is lovely set up with solid oak furniture true to the original style.
You will enjoy a fantastic view overlooking the surrounding nature.
If you are not in the mood for cooking, you will find our restaurant just around the corner (one minute walk) offering varied and very delicious meals.
