Surrounded by picturesque countryside we welcome you in our holiday home in a rural and quiet seclusion. The detached house is equipped with all major amenities and is ideal for a relaxing holiday for couples.

In the middle of a scenic countryside, our vacation home is located in a rural and quiet seclusion. The detached holiday home at the pond is equipped with all major amenities and is ideal for a relaxing holiday for couples . On a floor space of 50 sq.m. you'll find a bedroom for up to 3 people, a cozy living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Built in 1992 the house itself is located on a 1,200 sq.m. large, fenced garden plot, with flower beds, fruit trees and two terraces with a barbecue grill. In the immediate vicinity there is also a fishing pond and many hiking and cycling paths through the beautiful Thuringian Forest.

Location description : Fischbach is located on the northern slope of the Thuringian Forest at an altitude of about 380 meters at the foot of the Großer Inselsberg. It is a village in the district Gotha in Thuringia, which since 2013 is a part of the city Waltershausen. The position of Fischbach was mentioned for the first time in 1103 by the second abbot of the monastery of Reinhardsbrunn. A place at this place has been occupied since the early 15th century. The place was owned by the lords of Wangenheim, who built a castle there and had its seat in it until 1780.     “Wir waren zum dritten Mal in der Unterkunft und sie ist immer wieder empfehlenswert. Positiv: Ausstattung der Unterkunft war sehr gut und umfangreich. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Negativ: Nichts. Ausflüge: Greifvogelwarte am Rennsteig - Besonders empfehlenswert ist die Flugshow.”

    “Wir haben die Tage im Ferienhaus am Weiher sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder :-) Positiv: Sehr ruhig, Natur pur !
    Das Häuschen liegt sehr idyllisch. Es hat 2 schöne große Terassen, auf denen man Sonne und Ruhe genießen kann.
    Im Haus gibt es alles, was man benötigt.
    Man kann hier entspannte Tage genießen und Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen. (z.B.Wartburg, Gotha)
    Es ist viel Info- Material vorhanden.
    Die Gastgeber sind sehr sympathisch :-)
    Kontakt und Schlüsselübergaben sehr unkompliziert. Negativ: Es führen 2 (3?) hohe Stufen ins Schlafzimmer.
    Eine bequeme Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer wäre schön ! Restaurant: Anno 1700 - Privat geführt, sehr nette und freundliche Inhaber. Idyllisch und rustikales Cafe/Restaurant.
    Leckerer selbstgebackener Kuchen. Ausflüge: Wartburg, Eisenach - Muss man einfach hin”

    “Alles in Allem sehr zu empfehlen, um Körper und Geist wieder in Ordnung zu bringen. Positiv: Die absolut ruhige gegrafische Lage des Ferienhauses in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einem kleinen Teich (Weiher), um den man wunderbar herum soazieren kann.
    Man braucht keine großen Unternehmungen zu machen und hat auf dem schönen Grundstück Entspannung pur. Negativ: Nicht so gut ist die Zuwegung von der Hauptstraße zum Ferienhaus.
    Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Feldweg mit sehr vielen Steinen, also pures Gift für Reifen und Unterboden des Fahrzeugs.
    Allerdings glaube ich nicht, dass der Vermieter direkten Einfluß auf den Zustand des Weges hat.
    In zukünftigen Gemeinderatssitzungen sollte allerdings über eine zeitnahe Befestigung (Asphalt) des Weges debattiert werden, zumal es sich bei dem Weg auch um die Zufahrt zum Weiher handelt.
    Es würden also Viele von einem ordentlich befestigten Weg partizipieren.”
