Lamon is a small mountain village in the Dolomites, in the Veneto region with its splendid cities of art (50 km Belluno, 80 km Vicenza and Treviso, 110 km Venice), on the border with the Trentino region with its lakes and castles; not far from characteristic small towns such as Feltre (20 km), Castello Tesino (20 km) and Fiera di Primiero (23 km).

This holiday apartment is located on the first floor of a two-family house in the idyllic Lamon, where time is still characterized by the slow rhythms of nature. The proximity to other towns offers many opportunities for fun and pleasure: taverns and breweries, many village festivals with music, local specialties and handicrafts. The house is reached by crossing the characteristic village center of Lamon and driving up for 2 km along a narrow and steep mountain road.

Access to the accommodation through external stairs; it offers a large living room, a beautiful covered wooden terrace, large shared grounds (not fenced). From the house there are marked trails for trekking and mountain biking and nearby there are trails for downhill. Among the various trekking trails that start from the village, some also lead to the various caves of the area: Grotta dell'Acqua Nera, Caves of San Donato and the Caves of Castel Tesino, or the renowned caves of Oliero with 40,000 years old stalactites and stalagmites, the visit of which is done by boat. If you are a sportsman this is your destination because in the area you can practice all the sports that the mountains can offer.

For the more adventurous, the favorable air currents make the Monte Avena the ideal base for paragliding and hang gliding, or in the valley you can practice canyoning and the nearby lakes (Lake Corlo 18 km, Lakes Levico and Caldonazzo 50 km, Lake of Calaita 40 km with views of the Pale di San Martino and Lake of Santa Croce 70 km) offer the opportunity to practice water sports such as windsurfing, sailing, kitesurfing, but are also suitable for those who simply want to relax, take a dip or sunbathe. 100 km from the beaches of the Adriatic coast.

The house is also an excellent starting point for cultural itineraries: passing through charming historic villages or towns (Bassano del Grappa, Feltre, Mel, Marostica ...) you can reach the main art cities of the two regions. Do not miss the immense heritage of the Venetian Villas and the charm of the Castles of Trentino. Also gourmets will get their money’s worth here: local fairs and restaurants are characterized by typical local products and those with the PGI brand, such as the Lamon bean or the Prussiana apple of Sovramonte.

For beer lovers, in Pedavena (20 km), there is a renowned historic brewery with a wide selection of draft beers, accompanied by local specialties. 40 km the Valdobbiadene with the Prosecco wine road winding through scenic hills, vineyards and old villages: there are many wineries where you can stop and taste the locally produced Prosecco or Cartizze sparkling wines.
