The apartment of around 110m² was renovated in 2014 and furnished and equipped with attention to detail. It has a modern bathroom with a WC, shower and LED lighting. The newly fitted kitchen provides all the necessary utensils, along with a stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, radio and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The living room provides a modern flatscreen satellite TV with a DVD player and a stereo system. The sofa with an armchair invites you to relax. You can dine together or spend sociable evenings at the large dining table. The two bedrooms can accommodate up to four people. Each has a double bed and a large wardrobe. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.
The wonderful big balcony with balcony furniture invites you to dine or to relax in the fresh air with a unique view. A washing machine and a dryer are available in the house and can be used for a fee.
The owners would like to offer more than just typical standard rentals. Therefore they decided to acquire two high-quality e-bikes, which are available for use for a fee. Two normal bicycles are available free of charge for exploring the beautiful surroundings on leisurely cycle tours of up to around 80km, ensuring fun in the process. The owners are happy to help plan tours, as well as to offer guided cycle tours if time allows.
The nearest shopping facilities and restaurants are about nine kilometres away. There is a bus stop about 200 metres away. Many natural beauty spots and cultural highlights await your visit. The area has plenty to offer hiking enthusiasts. Whether it is art along hiking trails (ARS NATURA) or the Hoher Meißner nature reserve (home to Frau Holle) with many hiking options on premium trails, which also offer the possibility of skiing and sledging in winter. The glorious blossom of the opium poppy spanning 12 hectares is a special highlight, as well as the UNESCO world natural heritage site of Kellerwald-Edersee national park with the third-largest dam in Germany and a treetop trail.
